Johnny Kitagawa, president of Johnny & Associates, the company behind Japan's biggest boy bands, has announced his plans to create a new Chinese idol group.
The president's goal is debut the new group in November during Hey! Say! JUMP's stage play "JOHNNY'S World".
"I want to produce a local Chinese idol group, and I also want to hold an audition in China. I haven’t decided how many members will be in the group, but I’m thinking the members’ age range will be around junior high school age," Johnny stated.
