Hey! Say! JUMP to sing the theme song for Japanese version of "Smurfs"

As it has been reported that Hey! Say! JUMP’s new song, “Magic Power“, will be the theme song for the Japanese dub of the animated movie, “The Smurfs“.

As we reported earlier, Hey! Say! JUMP members Yamada Ryosuke and Chinen Yuri will be voice acting for the main cast. Yamada will provide the voice for Clumsy, and Chinen will provide the voice for Brainy. The boys are expected to liven up the movie with their voice and song.

“Magic Power” was written along the theme of the movie, and has a motown sound that will make people happy just by listening to it. Using the Smurf’s saying, “Even if we are small, we can do anything if we work together!“, as the theme, the song conveys a “magic power” that is created by the bonds of friendship.

The Smurfs is a story of small blue creatures, first serialized as comic strips in newspapers by the Belgian cartoonist Pierre Culliford in 1958. After more than half a century, The Smurfs will appear on the big screen in 3D, utilizing live-action and animation.

Hey! Say! JUMP’s “Magic Power” is scheduled to be released in September, and the movie will begin airing in Japan on September 9th.

This reminds me of 2006 …. when i was recently into JE ….NEWS…and KAT-TUN…….I Loved them soo much …..when i got to know of Uchi being dismissed and later on Kusano in 2007……..I was so sad………….

And Now JUMP…………Yesterday Night one of my friends on facebook told me bout this……and I ………Was like……It might be a rumour……….Later when I saw the picture……i was a bit startled………i was like How!!! How could Ryu do this………..

Well i’m the same age as him…..so i understand that we’re curious to do things at this age……But I guess he’s younger to what Kusano and Uchi were at that time. And I also believe that what both of em got….was unfair……they must’ve got a chance…..

But……….Ryu being dismissed out of the group…….. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS??????? T_________T 10-1 = 9!!!!!!!

RYU!!!!!!! BAKA!! HOUNTOUNI BAKA!! Why did you smoke???!!! Why is JUMP always like this to me?!?!?! 1st, I was gone for 1 month on holiday and then come back with naughty Daiki with his ear-ring! And now ...I was JUST gone for 1 week and come back and find you smoking and suspended from JUMP. >_< WHY IS IT WHENEVER I’M GONE SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS!! I don’t want 9 members. Not 8 members. IN HEY SAY JUMP... I just want 10 members! 10 hot cute innocent and good boys!

Do you guys need me to watch over you 24/7 to keep you being good boys... right JUMP?? Is that the only way to keep you guys good? IF SO, I'LL DO IT!
